BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhuanet) -- China is willing to promote an all-round Sino-Albanian relationship, said Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan here Friday.

   Tang made the remark when meeting visiting Albanian Foreign Minister Kastriot Islami.

   Tang said China and Albania have developed bilateral ties, expanded cooperation in various spheres and closely coordinated ininternational organizations in recent years.

   Highly valuing friendship with Albania, China is willing to work with the Albanian government to promote an all-round bilateral relationship, Tang said.

   Tang also expressed his thanks and appreciation for Albania's adherence to the "one-China" policy and its support to the reunification of China.

   Islami said the two countries have maintained a good relationship and frequent high-level exchanges which have strengthened political trusts. He said 2004 is the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between the two countries and Albania is willing to work with China to bring the bilateral relationship into a new phase.

   Praising China's remarkable achievements in recent years, the foreign minister reiterated Albania's adherence to the "one-China"policy, stressing that it is Albania's established policy and willnever change. Enditem
